This Cookie Policy explains how OhmNexus uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, when you visit our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. Local storage is a similar mechanism that keeps small amounts of data on your own device. Both let a site remember information between visits, such as a preference you have set.

Cookies we use today

OhmNexus keeps this to a minimum. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use them to build an advertising profile of you.

• Essential and functional. Our calculators run entirely in your browser. They may use local storage to remember preferences on your own device, such as your last-used units. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Hosting and security. Our hosting and content-delivery provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to deliver the site securely and reliably.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is found and used. It sets first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, that help it distinguish visitors and sessions; these last up to two years. We run it in measurement-only mode with Google Signals and advertising personalization disabled, so it is not used for cross-site advertising.

You can refuse or remove these analytics cookies at any time using the controls in Managing cookies below. A consent control for visitors in regions that require prior consent for non-essential cookies, such as the EU, UK, and California, is being introduced.

Third-party and advertising cookies

We use one third-party analytics service, Google Analytics 4, described above; Google sets its cookies as part of that service. We do not run third-party advertising cookies. If we introduce advertising in the future, this policy will be updated to describe the specific cookies involved, and, where the law requires it (for example, for visitors in the EU, UK, or California), we will ask for your consent before any non-essential advertising cookies are set.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies or remove existing ones. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's official opt-out browser add-on. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works, while clearing calculator preferences simply resets them to their defaults.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly before introducing any advertising or analytics. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
