These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of OhmNexus (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the site

OhmNexus provides electrical calculators, design and field tools, guides, and reference content, for both personal and professional use. You may use the Site for lawful purposes only, and you may not attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain unauthorised access to it.

Accuracy and professional judgment

Our calculators, tools, and guides are engineered for accuracy and document the formula, standards, and assumptions behind every result. They are decision-support and educational resources, not a substitute for a qualified professional's review of your specific project. A general-purpose tool cannot account for every site condition, local amendment, or manufacturer specification. For any installation, purchasing, or safety-critical decision, verify the result against the electrical code and standards that apply in your country or jurisdiction, and have it reviewed by a licensed electrician or professional engineer. If professional engineering services are offered in future, they will be governed by a separate written agreement rather than these Terms.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, as to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. The arithmetic is a separate matter: every tool applies the published formula and the standards named on its page, and we correct any error in that math as soon as it is reported. What we cannot warrant is that a correct figure suits your particular installation, that the values you entered are the right ones, or that your jurisdiction enforces the code edition cited.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OhmNexus shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its calculators.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and tools on OhmNexus are owned by OhmNexus and protected by applicable law, except for material derived from published standards. Values, tables, formulas, terminology, designations, and limits drawn from standards published by NFPA (the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70®), IEC, IEEE, ASTM, SAE, ANSI, UL, NEMA, NIST, BSI (including BS 7671), Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand (AS/NZS), DIN, JIS, and other standards development organizations remain the property of their respective publishers, which are not affiliated with OhmNexus and do not endorse it; we claim no ownership of those values. You may use the calculators and reference our content for your own work, but you may not copy, republish, or redistribute the Site's content or tools as your own without permission.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites for reference. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

Nothing in these Terms takes away the consumer rights your own country's law gives you; where that law applies, it stands. If something goes wrong, email contact@ohmnexus.com first and we will try to settle it directly.
