Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OhmNexus ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our website and calculators. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Information we collect

• Information you provide. When you contact us by email or submit the feedback form, we receive the message you send and any details you choose to include, such as your email address.
• Calculator inputs. The numbers you enter into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser to produce a result. We do not transmit or store your calculator inputs on our servers.
• Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic request information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.

Cookies and tracking

OhmNexus uses Google Analytics 4, a web-analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects aggregated usage data, such as the pages you view, how you arrived, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and browser information. We run it in measurement-only mode: Google Signals and advertising personalization are turned off, so your activity is not used to build a cross-site advertising profile, and Google Analytics 4 does not retain your IP address. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our calculators still run locally in your browser and may use your browser's local storage to remember preferences on your own device; that information is not sent to us. You can opt out of analytics at any time. For visitors in regions that require prior consent for non-essential cookies, such as the EU, UK, and California, we are introducing a consent control. How we use information

We use the information you send us only to respond to your message, fix issues, and improve our tools. We use standard technical data only to operate and secure the site.

Service providers

We rely on a third-party hosting and content-delivery provider to serve and protect the site; it processes technical request data on our behalf. When you submit the feedback form, that same provider's email service delivers your message to our inbox. It processes your submission only to deliver it to us, and is bound to handle it on our behalf. We also use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to measure site usage; Google processes the analytics data described above in line with its own privacy policy.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it except as needed to operate the site or to comply with the law.

Your choices

You can use OhmNexus without providing any personal information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's official opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings; declining analytics does not affect your ability to use the calculators. If you have emailed us and would like your message deleted, contact us and we will remove it.

Children

OhmNexus is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
