Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OhmNexus ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our website and calculators. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Information we collect

• Information you provide. When you contact us by email or submit the feedback form, we receive the message you send and any details you choose to include, such as your email address.
• Calculator inputs. The numbers you enter into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser to produce a result. We do not transmit or store your calculator inputs on our servers.
• Email list signups. If you join our list for updates on new calculators, guides, and tools, we store the email address you enter, the date you signed up, the page you signed up from, and your IP address as a record of your consent. We keep it until you ask us to remove it. We do not sell or share it, and we use no third-party email marketing service.
• Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records basic request information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.

Cookies and tracking

OhmNexus uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. It is cookieless and privacy-first: it sets no cookie, stores no identifier in your browser, and does not track you across sites or visits. It records a page view with the referring page and general device and browser information. It does not build a profile of you, and there is no cross-site advertising data to disable. We run no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our calculators still run locally in your browser and may use your browser’s local storage to remember preferences on your own device; that information is not sent to us. How we use information

We use the information you send us only to respond to your message, fix issues, and improve our tools. If you joined our email list, we use your address only to send occasional updates about the site, and never for anything else. We use standard technical data only to operate and secure the site.

Service providers

We rely on Cloudflare, Inc. for hosting and content delivery. It serves and protects the site and processes technical request data on our behalf. When you submit the feedback form, Cloudflare's email service delivers your message, and processes your submission only to deliver it. That message comes to rest in a Google-operated mailbox, so Google LLC processes it as our email provider from that point on. Cloudflare also supplies our cookieless web analytics and holds our email list, and processes that data on our behalf under its data processing terms.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it except as needed to operate the site or to comply with the law.

Your choices

You can use OhmNexus without providing any personal information. Our analytics is cookieless and never identifies you, so there is no tracking to opt out of and nothing stored in your browser to clear. If you have emailed us and would like your message deleted, contact us and we will remove it. If you joined our email list, every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed; we delete your address and the signup record with it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. Residents of the EU and UK have these rights under the GDPR, and residents of California have comparable rights, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, email contact@ohmnexus.com and we will respond within the period the law allows. Because we hold very little, most requests are simple to honor. Cloudflare serves the site from data centers worldwide, so information may be processed outside your country.

Children

OhmNexus is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
